The captain of the food crew recommanded desserts after our Char Koah Teow adventure, and we decided on the famous “Penang Road Famous Chendol” ! This stall is located on the McAlister lane, lorong McAlister and it wasn’t really that easy to spot it. It was a hottttt day and this creamy, icey mouth watering chendol is all we needed to fight the heat! wtf wtf.

After rounding and rounding, finally we found this mobile stall. Excitedly we ordered the famous ICE CHENDOL and trust me it was heavenly.

It wasn’t the best of environment for deserts but we Malaysians are in for quality, not the surroundings Remember to spot for this road sign and you know you’re within walking range to the chendol stall.

Hmm.. I realised something in Penang. Every stall has the “FAMOUS” tag on their sign board. So how can we trust which is really the famous ones? Well, thanks to the half penang-nite, we sorta found our way to the “original” famous ones.

So guys n girls, if you happen to be in Penang and you can’t stand the heat, make you sure you drop by this stall and pamper yourself with this heavenly bowl of chendol!

One of the bestttt Char Keuh Teow i have ever had. Penang’s Famous Ah Leng Char Kueh Teow! According to our “almost” penangnite, alot of people travel for hours just to have these kueh teow.

After driving around and around in the city of Penang, finally we found this hidden road side stall with the famous tag “FAMOUS AH LENG CHAR KEUH TEOW” ! I was pretty skeptical in the beginning, never a big fan of  Char Keuh Teow since young. So the waitress took our order and after a mere 10 mins, this small portion of CKT was presented infront of me. WTF it was less than 10 bites. But the taste made up for its portion, it was heavenly. I can’t explain why it tasted so GOOD, but definitely it was one of the best out there.
